How do you take off the muffler off of a craftsman 16" 36cc chainsaw?
i took off the little nut that holds the little plate in (by the chain bar) on the square metal muffler do i have to use a socket to remove the bolt in the bolt stuck to the cylinder head on muffler? because it pull slow and hard so i ASSUME ITS CLOGGED
Put the nut back on it's not plugged, you probably lugged it down on full compression when you tried to start it. Instead of the muffler, remove the spark plug and then pull the starter cord, reinstall the plug and go to work.
