what type of patio furniture should I buy. I do not spending more for quality.?

I have cast iron, aluminum and resin wicker on my patio. The cast iron is heavy, needs to be re-painted and rust proofed every couple of years, but it is a lifetime purchase. I can and have changed the look many times over the last 8 years. The resin wicker is very inexpensive, easy to clean, lightweight and easy to move. You can also change the look with different cushions and it can be painted with the new Kyron Plastic Paint available at Lowes. My least favorite is my aluminum furniture. Contrary to popular opinion, it does rust especially at the joints. I have painted it several times and nothing seems to stick well to it for a long time before it starts peeling and flaking. It is, however, the least expensive option. Don't plan on it lasting a lifetime.

When I think of wrought iron, I always have images of those gigantic outdoor benches. They always seemed to be found in botanical gardens.
