Who makes a better Chainsaw - Echo, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Stihl?
All are good saws. Each have the good and bad points. Stihl is the #1 selling saw in the world. They also have over 8,000 dealers in the US. You cannot get them in Lowe's or Home Depot, like Echo, and Husqvarna. Husqvarna ownes Jonsered, and Poulan brands. The Craftsman saws in Sears are made by Poulan. It boils down to personal preference and where you can get good service. I would go with Stihl, there are dealers all over the US and they are easy to work on.
