Petrol hedge trimmers, Which is the best 40" (101cms) single side blade?
I have narrowed it down to a Stihl HC86T or Echo HC341ES. The model numbers may vary in different parts of the world. Both these machines are for normal to fine trimming. Both machines are similarly priced, the Stihl is lighter, the Echo has a built in sweeper attachment.
If you have any experience of these machines then I would be grateful for your comments. If you think any other 40" trimmers are worth considering then please advise.
The machine is for commercial use.
I have used both echo and stilh trimmers for finess of cut Id go for echo for pure hacking power but a rougher cut go for the stihl.
Both makes are reliable. Would say if you need a strimmer at any time stihl are my favourite,
Also buy good quality 2 stroke oil. Keep blades oiled and make sure you check filters and plugs about once per week
