Greenhouse Tape

Do any brick & mortar chain stores carry greenhouse supplies?

I need batten tape to attach poly film and would rather not wait for it to ship from an online supplier.

I would try a local hardware store. I think you'll have a better chance than say, a Home Depot. Also, try a local nursery. Most are open during the winter.

1) Material of the set (wooden/metal/wrought iron)

2) Occupancy number or how many people will use it at a time

3) Basic theme of the furniture (Modern/Oriental)

Now apart from this basic list there are certain points that if added to this list can save your lots of money and time.

In any landscaping design when it comes to choosing garden furniture a few things must be taken into consideration. Just like the above-mentioned list you can create one more list of questions which when answered will form a complete picture in front of you.

Here is a sample of questions you can ask yourself.

1) What's the approximate area where the furniture will be placed?

2) Is this area cover or open to sky?

3) What's the base material where the furniture will be placed (Tiles/lawn)

Always think about future occupancy of the space where you will use this set. For example if you arrange a small family gathering in you backyard then will this kind of arrangement of furniture be ok with all the people who will occupy?

You can even carry a measuring tape with you while shopping so that you don't end up buying that doesn't fit in you garden. Make sure you do enough research to get the best deal out there.

One this kind of raw data is ready with you can then go ahead and look for some local shops where garden furniture is sold. Get an idea of the kind of designs they have and their best pricing range. This will also help you to modify some of your plans.

You can always come back and start all over again if you find that what you had visualized is not what you will get in the real market. For example if you visualized during design stage that wooden furniture will look good in the patio but during your research you really liked the metal furniture set a great addition to the entire theme of the patio, then it's always possible to redo things for your satisfaction.

But what if you don't find what you were looking for in the local markets? Another option is to design a custom made furniture set. This can however become an expensive affair. Keep this as a last alternative.

When it comes to choosing the right kind of garden furniture sets what really matters is what you are looking for and the kind of environment you wish to create in the garden. Careful planning and research can easily achieve this by saving the money and time too.
