1967 McCulloch chain saw?
In a past post I gave the wrong brand name. (SORRY)! I have a yellow with black lettering McCulloch chain saw. (NOT McCullogh)( Model: MAC 10-10.) I was wondering if anyone can tell me the correct answer to what the oil-to-gas- mix is for fuel would be? The thing runs sweet, and starts on the second pull. Bar is great, saw looks like it has less then 5 hours on it. I am an A.S.E. cert tech, and have worked on small engines since I was 10, but this one is not in my realm. I can't seem to dig up anything on this bad boy. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Most Macs from that era ran on 40:1. 32:1 is a common mix, and won't hurt a thing. I would NOT reccommend trying the 50:1 mixes
used by the modern saws and trimmers. By the way, that 10-10 is a workhorse, as you probably know by now. If McCulloch would've stayed on that track, they might still be around.

1. Hold back a little bit, but not too far. Rushing in is for fools, but so is the total aloof attitude. Find the right balance and stay there. Be sure not to come over as unfriendly or seeming to think you are above everything around you. Be in control at all times and play the game your way.
2. Pick and choose what you want to do. Go on a date by all means, but only if it suits you. If it doesn't, then say so firmly, but not unfriendly. He'll be intrigued by the fact that you can be firm and certain. He'll want to know more about you. That's playing hard to get the right way.
3. Let him call you. Be friendly when he calls, but don't initiate the call. You have your life, which is private, and he will accept that if you demand it in the early stages. No matter how liberated and emancipated girls are supposed to be these days, let him do the running. It's a hunter thing with guys. They love it, so let him hunt. But remember, as a hunter he needs to bring back the "kill," so don't kill your chances by playing too hard to get.
