If you're looking for an affordable green house you could consider one
that uses plastic as a covering. They're cheap versatile and easy to
erect.
The three basic plastic green house
coverings are polythene, fiberglass or polycarbonate.
Polythene sheeting is cheap, but does have a tendency to rip and will
only really last for a couple of years.
Fiberglass on the other hand is a lightweight
solution, allowing approximately the same amount of light to
travel through as glass. It can be unsightly to look at and does stain
over time.
Using polycarbonate sheets as a cover for your plastic green house
will give you a covering that's lighter than glass and less likely to
break. You'll get less sunlight penetration than you will with
glass,
